Regaining Dutch Citizenship is Suitable for:

Through Option Procedure:

• Former Dutch nationals who have been a legal resident in the Netherlands for at least one year with a valid residence permit for a non-temporary residence purpose, such as family reunification or paid employment
  
  
• Former Dutch nationals born outside the Netherlands who adopted the nationality of country of birth when they became of age and were also resident in that country at the time
  
  
• Former Dutch nationals who resided in the country of which they are a national for a consecutive period of at least five years before the age of 18
